[ There's a little snort of amusement but Mizuki follows her in, immediately swerving for the paper towels to get them wet and hand a chunk over to Ena. ]

I can't believe we got attacked.

[She takes that chunk willingly, tugging off her long-sleeve track suit jacket to start cleaning up the worst of the cuts on her arms. It's fine, she's got a T-shirt in Shiawase colors underneath, which she wrinkles her nose at in the mirror.]

... The color's cute in small doses, but as the whole outfit, it's kind of ugly.

Mm... well, it's not ideal, yeah...

Maybe I can do some alterations, if we end up stuck here.

[ As she dabs at the gash on her ankle. ]

[A sigh, and she shakes her head, moving on to very carefully dab at the blood at her ear--which makes her hiss, wincing as she drops the paper towel.]

Ena's quiet for a moment, and then she grips the paper towels more tightly, swallows, and clenches her jaw, determined to get through it on her own. It's slow, but she makes steady progress anyway. Not particularly stoically, of course; she grumbles and mutters throughout the whole thing.

But she at least gets the worst of the blood cleaned up.]

She grimaces, setting the wad of bloody paper towels aside.]

I'm not sure, but--I think so? Everything's kind of muffled, and my ears just... ache, except when things get really loud.




You don't think it's permanent, do you?

No way! If it was permanent, I think you wouldn't be able to hear at all! I bet you just need time and for people to not yell for a while.
