Ena's quiet for a moment, and then she grips the paper towels more tightly, swallows, and clenches her jaw, determined to get through it on her own. It's slow, but she makes steady progress anyway. Not particularly stoically, of course; she grumbles and mutters throughout the whole thing.

But she at least gets the worst of the blood cleaned up.]

I'm not sure, but--I think so? Everything's kind of muffled, and my ears just... ache, except when things get really loud.

No way! If it was permanent, I think you wouldn't be able to hear at all! I bet you just need time and for people to not yell for a while.

[ She'd test it from anyone else, but she trusts Ena's word. ]

She's not saying it, but she's scared to look. What if there's another Creature in there? Peering into the window is surely asking for a jumpscare.]
