[The school is empty. The school is quiet. The only sound that cuts through the silence is the soft ticking of the hallway clocks that mark the passing of each second.]

[At least. . . until a stiff breeze whips through the classrooms, scattering dirty papers and jerking the curtains aside. The clock strikes 6:00 a.m.]

[The school bell chimes.]

[so! there's a young woman in a green uniform on the ground, bleeding pretty badly from one of her arms and one of her legs. the more notable thing, though, is probably that she has her hands pressed against her head, eyes wide as if she's experiencing something intense even though there's nothing visible going on, nails digging into her scalp.

[ Well that's definitely concerning, right? It takes a minute to spot her when she's still prone like that, but Zuo Le will come skittering to her side the minute he sees her, and more important sees her acting like she's in deep pain. ]

[as powers come back, since her arms are visible, he can notice that her veins are gradually changing from blue to a deep black. spooky......

gradually, though, her breathing gets more steady and she seems to calm. once she registers that he's nearby, as evenly as she can manage:]

...My apologies. Are you alright?

[ Spooky probably, alarming definitely. Is it some kind of poisoning? Is she going to be alright?!

Though despite that fact she sounds less distressed as time goes on rather than more. He'll let go of some tension, though he still watches her like a hawk as he hovers, kneeling down next to her. ]

At the very least I'm still alive.

[ He thinks...

He hopes. ]

[thoughtfully, before she moves to stand.]

And it seems we were let out regardless of not finding the key.

[ He'll clamber back to his feet as she does, ready to reach a hand out if she seems to need it. ]

Let out is a nice way to put it, but...

[ He'll turn to look at the gymnasium now that he's not panic rushing to check on teammates. ]

[frowning lightly as she does the same, composure regained.]

[ she rips some fabric off of her tracksuit pants and starts bandaging her cuts. she knows what she's doing ]

I mean, it's unlikely. ...Doubtful. Improbable? [already exhausted by team curse. sighs.] Never mind, pretend I didn't say anything.

[ by the way, while yuffie is working, her hand might brush neverah's skin, which means she will get a big ol' dose of yuffie's fear, hidden under bravado ]

[ she also snorts at that, because she's rude ]

Well. I can patch you up and I'm definitely planning on kicking ass over all this, but dunno what else I can do for you.

[she doesn't quite realize that it was the contact that prompted it yet, but she does wince a little at the sudden fear. a small shrug, though.]

I've calmed down. The wounds are manageable.

... a gymnasium, it looks like. A place where people participate in sports. Only... abandoned. Decrepit.

I wonder if we're locked in here as well. One way to find out, I suppose.
