[ Maybe this should have been foreseen, but Mizuki (who bears gashes on an ankle and an arm) still sort of freezes in place for a minute before staggering over. ]

( mafuyu blinks slowly. and suddenly something hot burns in her chest- her, ena, and mizuki? this is- )

( a pause, and then she looks up at mizuki and very sincerely says: )

This place sucks.

[ Mizuki crouches down at her, clearly torn between being the usual mood-maker and being a little more vulnerable.

... Well, it is Mafuyu. ]

You took the words right out of my mouth! But that doesn't mean we wanted you to be stuck here either.

I haven't seen her yet. ... Maybe that's one thing we can be grateful for.

( ... after a moment, mafuyu tugs mizuki over, a little closer than either of them might allow, normally. )

... Despite that, and- it feels... awful to say, I think... I'm glad to see you still. ... I'm sorry.

But Mizuki blinks rapidly, and Mafuyu will feel--well, a bit of surprise, some discomfort, something like faint relief and worry, before there's a bit of a light laugh. ]

The people I was with are kind. One of them kind of reminds me of her. The blond boy who doesn't look like he wandered out of an explosion.

He's earnest and noble, but it feels clumsy... but, it's... nice.

I'm glad you've got at least one good teammate! What are the rest of them like?

Hoshimi is like you but older. ... And cockier. But I think she can back it up? She's... got this energy to her that reminds me of you.

Ren is calm. ... Maybe too calm. But he's also kind and reliable. He cut me free from the strings, and is very levelheaded.

The other two don't have nicknames yet, but one's a woman a few years older than us. She seems very kind and reliable... but she's afraid of ghosts. I think she works out a lot, too. She's really buff...

And the other is a blonde energetic man, but... I think he acts a fool to distract from something. But he also kept me out of danger, and did his best to cheer me up and keep me calm...
