[The school is empty. The school is quiet. The only sound that cuts through the silence is the soft ticking of the hallway clocks that mark the passing of each second.]

[At least. . . until a stiff breeze whips through the classrooms, scattering dirty papers and jerking the curtains aside. The clock strikes 6:00 a.m.]
[The school bell chimes.]

... So, Kanade isn't here. Thank goodness.
But Mizuki blinks rapidly, and Mafuyu will feel--well, a bit of surprise, some discomfort, something like faint relief and worry, before there's a bit of a light laugh. ]
You don't have to apologize! It's not your fault we're here and it's not mine either, so we can at least be glad we're not dealing with this alone.

Ren is calm. ... Maybe too calm. But he's also kind and reliable. He cut me free from the strings, and is very levelheaded.
The other two don't have nicknames yet, but one's a woman a few years older than us. She seems very kind and reliable... but she's afraid of ghosts. I think she works out a lot, too. She's really buff...
And the other is a blonde energetic man, but... I think he acts a fool to distract from something. But he also kept me out of danger, and did his best to cheer me up and keep me calm...
( glowing praise all around, yet none as high as a direct comparison to kanade. )
