[The morning bell chimes at 6 a.m., as it usually does! But there appears to be a very thin layer of fog settled against the ground outside. Some of it seeps into the school's hallways, before dissipating in a few wisps of haze. Weird??]

[As the day goes on, you feel like you can hear strange whispers echoing in the air-- a voice, hissing the word miiiiiiiine over and over again. Also weird!]

[And by the time the afternoon hits, you may find yourself running into some very unwanted guests. You've been here two weeks, and this is the first time you're seeing these guys?? Where have they been??]

[By the way, the nurse's office is unlocked!]

It appears to be a dog, yet its features are rather uncanny.

Mmhm, it's a yokai. I've heard stories about them before, but these seem to be rather extreme versions.

I wouldn't want to meet a pack of them alone again.

More like where did it find us. We were just wandering around the school when it suddenly got really foggy. I think it transported us somewhere.

We barely got back, and it was due to a light in our homeroom color.

A jinmenken--a human faced dog. This was my first time seeing one as well.

[She's been taking in the scene of the chaotic aftermath in here with a hard expression ever since hearing the commotion. The head, though, that gets her to pause. Stares at it for a long moment before looking up at him.]

Ah. . .not this alone, no. A whole pack of them. Thankfully their teeth are pretty blunt, so we didn't get mangled too badly.

Not Styx, though. He didn't get bit, he was attacked by a ghost with a scythe.

Where'd they all come from? It'd been so quiet around here lately...

[Which she knows is not a reason for them all to let their guards down, but still. Things escalated fast.]

Then there's just the squeaky tire-track sound of backing out of the room at top speed; the only thing visible now is one dinner-plate-wide eye and a shock of red hair peering around the door with full reluctance.]
