[ He's not all that concerned with these kind of spiritual matters to have a lot of thought about them, but he will nod slowly once, and then a second time more determinedly at her gameplan here. ]

[ He isn't entirely sure that the trouble with names lasts outside of the classroom, but he's not about to test it out either.

[ The exuberance and energy reminds him a little of a friend he made not that long ago. It's actually kind of relaxing in the midst of all of this. ]

[ The words she's saying only register slightly as he's immediately hit with those feelings that have him jolting slightly for a second, brow furrowing. ]

[ she cocks her head at him, confused ]

[ Trying to think how to describe it in a way that isn't too offensive. He settles for looking apologetic while being honest. ]

An undercurrent of fear the minute our hands touched?

I'm not trying to say I feel afraid of you, or anything like that. It wasn't that kind of thing, it just spiked all of the sudden out of nowhere.

[ she suddenly realizes what's happening and covers her face ]

[ That's not exactly the reaction he was expecting.

Actually, he's not really sure what reaction he should have expected, but it definitely wasn't that. The concern at least is real in his tone. ]

[ she hastily and cartoonishly waves her hands around, like she could wave away the conversation ]

[ This is just getting stranger to him, and unfortunately for her is not something he'll easily be able to just forget. ]

[ The nod looks just as uncertain as anything else. Does he get it? He gets he's basically being told not to ask about it further, so he probably gets it enough. ]
