[The school is empty. The school is quiet. The only sound that cuts through the silence is the soft ticking of the hallway clocks that mark the passing of each second.]

[At least. . . until a stiff breeze whips through the classrooms, scattering dirty papers and jerking the curtains aside. The clock strikes 6:00 a.m.]
[The school bell chimes.]

And just stands there, staring blankly at... whatever it is she's doing. Mark straightens his posture when she looks at him again though, still feeling a little under scrutiny, even though he gapes for a second at her question. ]
I wasn't, no. [ Time to be more serious now; he can actually contribute to this, and that he was powerless in that room has been bugging him. A lot. ] I couldn't do anything I normally can. Couldn't fly, couldn't break the door down... Did you lose something in there too?
