[ a lot of things, it's fine. haruka doesn't properly uncurl, but he does kind of spread out into a flop, finding the boy who's speaking to him after a second. his eyes are wide, not here but also not entirely Wherever he was a few seconds ago. ]

[ He gets a nod in response. This stranger's responding, so that's a good sign. And honestly... this wouldn't be the first time Minato's spoken to someone who was a little eccentric. ]

[ Minato points at one of his gashes before crouching nearby. ]

[ okay, now he's more in the present but he's still just as confused. maybe more, even. ]

[ he says this but he sits up from his sprawl, scooting a bit closer in the process. ]

[ And because Minato's sleeve is already torn, he has no qualms with ripping off another strip of fabric, winding it around the other person's arm. Once it's taut, he finishes it off with a neat knot. ]

[ ahhh, this sure is happening. haruka doesn't pull away but he does turn his head into his shoulder, embarrassed. this is not really effective at all, so minato can see that he's blushing a soft pink. ]

T-thank you, umm... [ tries to turn to look at him just a little. ] w-what should I call you?

[ Not to worry, Haruka. The blushing or bashfulness is none of his business. ]

Koromaru.

[ It's a bit of a mouthful, but that'd been the first name that sprung to mind for him.

He cants his head. ]

[ he says it with the clear enunciation of a Japanese speaker, but it's also not smooth. it shouldn't be a mouthful for him, but it kind of is. ]

Can I call you Koro-san instead?

[ give him a minute on the question he heard it, but his brains loading in order. ]
