[At least. . . until a stiff breeze whips through the classrooms, scattering dirty papers and jerking the curtains aside. The clock strikes 6:00 a.m.]

[ Minato looks up. That sounds like someone's voice, but because he hadn't really been paying attention -- ]

[well, that sure is a no! he raises his voice as he takes a seat next to Minato, giving him a solid once-over for any signs of more serious wounds. the ones he can see seem mild, and this guy seems to know his way around bandaging up an injury, so. . . he won't fuss too much!]

[ Huh. Sounds like the other classrooms might have had a similar layout with the same decorations. Perhaps they were even all identical. ]

Oh-- right. One of the kids took on the name "Macchiato." That's a mouthful-- [IT WAS HIS IDEA] -- so I'm shortening it to Macchi.

[ He glances down at the wrapped injury on his arm, and the dried blood from his ears is still visible and smeared on his face. On the other hand, they'd made it out in better shape than some of the other groups... ]

You look like you're handling your injury pretty well, though. Do you want some help in bandaging it up?

[ He's mostly patched himself up, but he supposes his temporary bandages could be tied a little tighter on his arm. ]

Can you redo the knot here? You can probably make it tighter than what I did...

[ordimame]

Oh, yeah-- sure.

[scoots closer, reaching out to undo the knot this guy had tied earlier, re-wrapping the makeshift bandages so it lays a little more flat and comfortable against the injury]

. . . those strings were so sharp I feel pretty lucky that I didn't lose an entire limb.

[ Mushroom-san's comment gets a simple nod from Minato. But as he rewraps the bandage, he might begin to feel a little more tired from absorbing weariness other than his own. ]

I guess... something like that could happen again, though.

[ He glances down to inspect the bandage. Definitely better than what he had before. ]
