I recognize that it’s not always pity when people offer me help, but I never understand why they’re offering it now when nobody ever did before in my fucking life.

akechi huffs back, as if out of instinct, before raising his arms. there are scratches there- some light, but some deep enough to still be bleeding. ]

but for now akechi is aghast at her ripping up her clothes. ]

That's not what I- look, you don't have to tear your clothes for me. They're just some cuts, they'd have healed on their own. [ a pause, like he can't help himself, ] I've had worse.

It's just clothing I don't even like. I'll find something else.

[ she ignores his protests and once she has the strips, gets to work bandaging the worst of it. it's too late, akechi, you agreed to this and she can't unrip her clothing ]

he tries to do so as least awkwardly as possible. ]

You should be more wary about throwing away supplies in such a place. [ he scolds anyway. ]

he sighs at her question though, flexing his arms before looking up at if to test. ]
