he just can’t seem to help himself- habits die hard. he even seems to fluff up a little at that, as disinterested and tired as he’s seemed so far. ]

I suppose I’ll do what I can. It’s true, that’s what they’re supposed to be good at… though usually, ghosts are discounted.

... Okay, tell me what I should be looking for anyway. Normally, if it wasn't ghosts. Higher level's fine. I just don't want to sit here and be useless while we're stuck in a haunted school.

Usually the first thing you’d do is secure the scene, which is impossible for a million reasons. Next you’d separate and talk to the witnesses, which… also impossible. We can talk to everyone, but they’ve all been talking to each other already too. It’s not the end of the world, but their testimony may be biased now based on what they’ve heard from others.

Ah. Huh. Yeah. That's pretty much useless here to try. Besides, that's assuming one of us brought everyone here, right?

Exactly. …Though, it’s not a total wash. Getting information from everyone is the main goal, if you’re interested. What you do with the information is a bit more difficult, but…

[She shrugs, frowning tightly, one hand coming to rest over a slightly bloody sleeve from the various cuts from all of that string.]

[ he nods, looking relieved at the thought of getting out of here. of it being over, finally. ]

[ as she speaks, though, he eyes to blood with a frown. remembers the girl who'd helped him bandage his own arms. ]

Yes. I'll try and organize it. [ he says, almost absent-mindedly. then- ] Are you alright?

She just sighs, shaking her head.]

But I'll be okay, and my homeroom's better off than most, it looks like. Thanks for asking, but you don't have to worry about it.

If you're sure. [ he's not going to press if she says so, but- ] Just keep in mind there's no point in being a martyr. I'm sure we'll need everyone at their best to figure this shit out.
