[At least. . . until a stiff breeze whips through the classrooms, scattering dirty papers and jerking the curtains aside. The clock strikes 6:00 a.m.]

[ Oh, those feelings of shock and alarm roll right over, causing Tifa to gently remove her hand because it's starting to feel unfair to Yuffie that she can just feel everything she feels. ]

Huh... that's so weird. Did you come across anything like this with the other people in your group?

[ She's just going to slide right past the question of whether or not Yuffie's scared. Tifa certainly has lost her cool a number of times here already because this has been scary, but there's not much point in arguing about it with a teenager. ]

[ maybe one day she'll be able to feel tifa's emotions and they'll be even. for now, yuffie is just quietly relieved tifa lets go of her ]

No, but I should check with them. Maybe it's been happening to them too.

There's so much that's strange about this place. What does feeling someone's emotions have to do with anything, anyway?

[ Still, it would be a good idea to try and compare notes and get some definitive answers on what's going on with each group. ]

There was some info in a notebook in our room. I'm guessing yours had one too?

In the journal we found it mentioned something about it, but I didn't think it was serious! Ugh!

[ yuffie is down to compare notes, but naturally she has to complain first ]

[ It seems like everything about this place is serious, even if they've been shoved into a school for some reason? ]

Hmm. For us, it was "Kenkou." Some of the people on my team were speculating it was written down by someone who was here before us, and who's still trying to help now, but I don't know...

[ Wouldn't that make them a ghost... ]

I did wonder why there were only two journal entries. So either they escaped, or they're dead.

The handwriting in the journal seemed to match what was on the chalkboard in our room, so I do think it might be...

[ She looks away. Yeah, they're dead. ]

Well. We've got some clues to start off, anyway. Wanna ask around and see what the other journals say?

[ yuffie might not mince words, but she's not in any hurry to linger on depressing topics. she's mission-minded, despite it all. ]

That's not a bad idea. I'd like to check in on some of the people who were in my room with me, too, so maybe we split up for now and meet back up later?
