Warnings: gosh, those fox fires sure are still around!
[if anyone happens into the cafeteria this day, they'll likely find a pile of mildly spicy meat handpies, some noodle dishes, some rice, and mooncakes. all of them with some levels of spice to them because in this house, we indulge in our spices until we're sent back home to places where spice is expensive af.
or at least, that's the sentiment of the cook.
who seems to be absent from the cafeteria.
anyway, free hot foods during this mid-autumn day with its chill winds and cooling temperatures and suspiciously flickering lights and whispers in familiar, desperately missed voices. or maybe that's just the wind.]

when lbh kicks, when the fear comes out on his face, the savageness of both sj's expression and his grip only grows. his grin stretches far enough to show his teeth. unfortunately I don't have icons for that.
he is solid and unmoving in the face of lbh's struggling, holding his head perfectly in place even as the chair rocks. choking him out until he goes limp. the bruises he leaves are deep and dark.
he doesn't kill him but he is gone by the time lbh regains consciousness. bye bitch ]

when he wakes up again he does so with a start, his mind racing to catch up. when he stumbles from his seat he's shocked to find that his soul doesn't rise straight out of his body.
