[a little ice breaker]
Who: everyone!
When: throughout the week of August 10
Where: everywhere
What: a little mischief
Warnings: nada!
[On August 10th, everyone wakes up to find a series of red yarn strung across the entire school. They dangle from the hallway ceilings, from the classroom door frames, even across some of the trees and bleachers outside. The ones that hang within reach feel warm to the touch! They can be pulled down and removed with little consequence.]
[However, it is not the decorative threads you should be worried about. Throughout the week, any two characters who come in close proximity with each other (they do not have to touch!) may suddenly find themselves tied together with the exact same red thread. If you're lucky, it will only link you via your wrists. If you're unlucky, it might bind you via your ankles, or even wrap you both up back-to-back like a pair of captives. Hm! Concerning!!]
[Any time two characters are tied together, a playful voice echoes in their minds: Hehe. Share a secret. . .?]
[To be released, both characters must share a secret with each other! Something that the other one doesn't know! It should be something significant; the playful threads will not let you go unless it is. But the level of significance may vary from something light to something that is not, so ultimately it is player's choice as to what secrets count and which do not!]
[. . . anyway, for anyone who wants to avoid getting caught, the nurse's office and dorm rooms are completely clear! The threads are also fickle; it is possible for two characters to hang out without being tied up together, if you don't want to play with this effect. Otherwise, go forth and mingle with some optional forced bonding!!]

Indeed. The only known solution is to do as the voice says.

I am a man-made life form.
[It's the same old secret, but it's worked so far. Until this place, he'd never been so open about what he is.]
no subject
Huh!?
[ . . . ]
You're being serious! Do you mean to say that you're an artificial human or something? Or a cyborg..?!
no subject
Indeed. I am an artificial human.
no subject
Were you cloned from someone or something?
no subject
no subject
It's so simply put that I don't even understand what that means!
no subject
It means I was created to protect humanity. A protector should be capable of holding his ground against certain threats, no?
no subject
So, you mean to say that you were born like... [ gestures with her free hand at his whole everything. ] Like that?
no subject
I was given growth stimulants to achieve optimal performance.

He can only chuckle again.]
Shocking, no? I'd understand if you felt more than disbelief.
no subject
[ she's just. what!! ]
I can't believe you're younger than I am.
no subject
Is that a bad thing?
no subject
I don't really care either way! But it does mean that you should be addressing me as your senpai from now on!
no subject
Is that true? Grades have no bearing here. Have you been in the hunting business for more than five years?
no subject
[ as if this was obvious to literally anyone but herself. ]
I've been training and working for a while now.
no subject
Is that so? How many years of experience do you have in total, then?
no subject
Enough, alright? Besides, in any case, calling me "senpai" is because you're way younger than I am! If there were grades here, you wouldn't even be in this school! You'd be in junior high!
