I’m a researcher, I study extinct dragon species. All my familiars are to help me with my work. But they’d probably do yardwork too if I knew how to garden at all. The dragonwolves love digging and rolling in the dirt.

He’s pretty good. My dragonwolves are my usual bodyguards if a summons isn’t cooperative, but nothing argues with him.

There aren’t any live ones his size from where I’m from. I’ve seen a couple dragons up close, but more dead ones than live ones. All our biggest species are extinct now and it’s still really hard getting near the small ones, too.

They were on most of the northern continents. You want to go where there’s long winters and large flatlands. If there’s prey like caribou or mammoths, you’ll find dragonwolves.
