[It sucks not having her usual countermeasures against spirits, but like in all situations, she'll make do.]

I think the other "students" here have probably done their fair share of looking for trouble intentionally. It appears most of you have survived so far.

Well... Trouble aside, it's nice to meet you. [ With that, she gives a slight, polite bow of her head. ] You can call me Dove for now. It seems like we'll be in the same class, so I can help if you need anything.

For my pseudonym... Hm. [She's been ruminating on it, but doesn't take long to reach a decision.]

Briar Rose. You can just call me Briar as a shorthand.

Just a few, but not very many. You're the first person I've seen from Yakuyoke so far.

[There's a pause, wondering if she should mention the graduated students, but decides against it.]

I won't promise anything, but I can say that I'll do my best to keep my own head above water.

Oh, please don't worry. Things can get... a little rough here, but you can always rely on the others for help, too. Miss Cadence and Lyric are strong people.

Seraphim? Harpy? Cupid? Which of those are you?

Um... I'm a cupid. How did you guess?

It was a lucky guess in addition to a more than passing familiarity to Roman and Greek myth. There are other winged creatures from other cultures and their myths and folklore, but your wings especially, made me think of that the most.

That said... Hm. Cupid. Interesting.

[ She's neither Greek nor Roman, thinks Koharu, but she supposes she can't think of a cupid equivalent in Shintoism either, and it isn't wrong, so... ]
