[ this morning, two Kin'uns are at the bulletin board, adding a new entry, and then simply loitering nearby.

Ms Fairplay, notably, has her arm in a sling. Mister Adair... fares better, with a few scratches upon his hands and face. both of them look... pecked. ]

There. [ says Ms Fairplay, of her clumsy signage. ]

with a wince of very real pain, she lifts her arm as high as she can in the sling—so that the fabric might be loosened, or otherwise lifted away. she has been stripped of her sweater, and so only wears the short-sleeved blouse and tie of her uniform. the shoulder sleeve is loose enough to push back and look.

it is a true dislocation. no bone has been snapped, nor has anything punctured the skin, but Severine's arm is badly bruised. in many spots, she has surpassed even indigo, and it's clear that Mister Adair did indeed land on top of her. her shoulder is the worst, by far. it is swollen, it is purple-black, and Severine refuses to even look at it, should White Rose expose it in any way.

[ she doesn't flinch or hesitate one bit as she takes a look at this dislocation -- but has it been popped back into the socket? ]

[ rose continues looking at it with or without severine's gaze, and very gently touches the arm to make sure it isn't broken. but whether or not the arm has been relocated will inform her next move ]

[ at least healing is faster here ]

[ it has been popped back into the socket, complete with all the bruising and swelling that entails. despite her hard affect, she does flinch and draw a soft, hissed breath when Rose touches the joint. she has, perhaps, led too sheltered a life for a woman of her age and vocation.

Okay, it's back in. We should get you a real sling from the nurse's office to immobilize it and an icepack for all the swelling.

Well—yes, of course. [ in that sort of surprised tone of someone who is now trying to pretend like they knew all this, and simply... hadn't gotten around to it yet. embarrassed. ] You will accompany me, of course.

[ to the nurse's office! once there, she immediately sits on the edge of the cot and lets out a pained sigh. she... hurts. ]

[ grabs a few ice packs from the freezer and a sling ]

... You take any painkillers yet?

Not... yet. I thought perhaps dose may be different for non-humans.

Ya might wanna.

[ brings a bottle over for her along with everything else ]

It's gonna sting a little when I get it in this sling.

I already fall from building and have grown man land on top of me, whoof. [ bounces her hand, palm down, in the air, to indicate "impact".

but... she sets the bottle between her knees and squeezes so that she can twist off the cap. ]
