[ this morning, two Kin'uns are at the bulletin board, adding a new entry, and then simply loitering nearby.

Ms Fairplay, notably, has her arm in a sling. Mister Adair... fares better, with a few scratches upon his hands and face. both of them look... pecked. ]

There. [ says Ms Fairplay, of her clumsy signage. ]

... Yes, that's certainly a possibility. Though, at least in our case... when we saw a glow in our class color, it was guiding us to safety, not danger. But you say the birds were trying to warn you away from whatever it was, correct?

[ hmmmmm. ]

Da, they say "danger" and "beware!" Perhaps it is not as simple as "guiding light", but rather signifying light.

Hmm, I still can't shake the idea that it's our respective spirits' way of communicating with us, more than anything... Though I suppose I have no concrete reason to be so attached to that theory.

If you'd like to test it, you could always send a Kai-un up and see if their omamori starts to glow.

[ biting her thumb ... ]

Do we risk this?

If the space is truly marked for Kai-un, they'll eventually be forced to face the danger regardless.

I do not doubt this. Yet, as has been said, if pattern holds, we are soon to return to gymnasium. I would have all classes in better condition than this.
