[The morning bell chimes at 6 a.m., as it usually does! But there appears to be a very thin layer of fog settled against the ground outside. Some of it seeps into the school's hallways, before dissipating in a few wisps of haze. Weird??]

[As the day goes on, you feel like you can hear strange whispers echoing in the air-- a voice, hissing the word miiiiiiiine over and over again. Also weird!]

[And by the time the afternoon hits, you may find yourself running into some very unwanted guests. You've been here two weeks, and this is the first time you're seeing these guys?? Where have they been??]

[By the way, the nurse's office is unlocked!]

That's right. We found ourselves lost in the fog all of a sudden, and there were train tracks. A train tried to run us down.

But... that can't be how you ended up like this.

Something attacked me while we were trying to get away. Thankfully, this room seems to be protected and we made it inside before anything else happened.

[ "Something"... In a place like this, it could be literally anything.

Maybe it's an unfair assumption, but: ]

...do you heal faster than a person? Is there something interfering with that?

Normally, I heal almost immediately. Like most of my powers, it seems to be sealed away for now.

The things keeping us here aren't to be underestimated. Most ghosts would steer clear of a servant of Death.

[ Well that sucks. ]

Maybe they don't know.

[ Is there really a reason for the ghosts here to recognize a grim reaper from elsewhere? ]

Hm. I guess it's possible we're in a place with its own version of Death.

[ He made an isekai joke at Mocha earlier. He hadn't considered it might be serious. ]

Still, stealing me away and cutting off my abilities is no small task.

[ He hadn't heard of any servants of Death from his own home, and Ivan looks pretty different from the Reapers he's used to. So it's definitely a possibility, one that Minato might even agree is true. ]

Maybe they'll come back one at a time.

That's what happened to one of my classmates.

I got one back, around the time we all showed up in the gym. I won't complain since it ended up saving our bacon for the most part.
