[The morning bell chimes at 6 a.m., as it usually does! But there appears to be a very thin layer of fog settled against the ground outside. Some of it seeps into the school's hallways, before dissipating in a few wisps of haze. Weird??]

[As the day goes on, you feel like you can hear strange whispers echoing in the air-- a voice, hissing the word miiiiiiiine over and over again. Also weird!]

[And by the time the afternoon hits, you may find yourself running into some very unwanted guests. You've been here two weeks, and this is the first time you're seeing these guys?? Where have they been??]

[By the way, the nurse's office is unlocked!]

Oh, no, um, for my part-time job. I teach yoga at a gym. They're really health-oriented, so they wanted to cover it all...

[but actually, speaking of first aid lessons,]

We should take some of this stuff back to the dorm with us. Make a first aid kit.

That's a good idea. I'm sure there's a bag or something we can carry it all in.

[ They can get back to the books in a bit. She stands up and looks around, taking stock. ]

We'll need bandages and antiseptic, to start with.

We can bundle it in one of Magus's shirts if we have to.

Painkillers... stronger painkillers that have no place being in a school nurse office...

[ She grabs both. ]

This place is practically a miniature hospital.

There’s a blood transfusion kit… Being well-supplied in the middle of nowhere is one thing, but geez.

It's overkill for a school, but will be a lifesaver for us. I have to say, I'm impressed.

[ She grabs an epipen and adds it to their stockpile. ]

I wonder why this place is so well stocked, though. It doesn't make sense for the ghosts to keep us intact, given how they've behaved toward us so far.

"So far", but... not all the "ghosts" have been after us, have they? It's been mostly quiet since the first day. There's something that protects our dorms, there's whatever cooks the cafeteria food, and now there's this office.

There's whoever kidnapped us and attacked Anzen, but they're not the only parties with influence here.

You're right. The cats mostly wanted us to pay attention to them.

[ There was all the hugging weirdness, but they didn't seem to have any maliciousness about them. ]

And I'm grateful for whatever is looking out for us. I can only assume it involves the people who greeted us in the journals when we first got here.

If it was a real school, it could be old students. There could be some teachers too. People who cared about this place before it became what it is.
