A pretty lady in sky blue smiles and waves. ]

Good evening. Hopefully this isn't a bad time? Enough time has passed that we figured it was a good idea to check in and make proper introductions.

You'll have to forgive the lack of housewarming gift. We're a bit shorthanded at the moment, which I'm sure you can relate to.

[ From behind her peers a perfectly average guy with tousled hair dressed in sky blue slacks. He gives a friendly wave! ]

How thoughtful of you. We're doing well as we can, I'd say, considering our team's curse...and speaking of curses, have you figured your team's out yet?

Oh, there's plenty of things, many of them present as other curses here. Care to be more specific?

[ Well, others have already sussed it out anyway, so... ]

We appear to be particularly popular with the monsters.

They're drawn to you, you mean? I'm curious — how'd you figure that one out?

Our class name and journal gave us a hint, and the nekomata's hopeless fondness for us more or less confirmed those suspicions.

[ Oh, she actually brings up something he hasn't heard before, as far as the other teams' reasoning. ]

That's a new one. You mean to say the name "Anzen" meant something to you before you got here?

[ Mild confusion dances in her eyes, but it disappears just as quickly as it comes. Right, not everyone here has heard of Japanese, let alone speaks it. ]

That does seem rather on-the-nose. Do you know the meanings of the other team names, too?

Kenkou—health. Shiawase—happiness. Kin'un—financial fortune. Katsumori—success and victory. Yakuyoke—warding evil.

[ Looks straight at him and smiles placidly. ]

Kai-un—good luck.

Hah. They really spelled it out for us, didn't they? How considerate. Most seem pretty straightforward as far as their curses go, but Kin'un and Katsumori...have they figured theirs out yet?

Kin'un is a desire to steal. As for Katsumori... No idea.

Interesting...I'm also not exactly sure what Yakuyoke's whole deal is, either. I would have thought their curse was something along the lines of what yours is.

Yes, that would be most intuitive opposite of "warding evil." But if not that... some form of corruption, perhaps?

You mean, a spiritual corruption? Or...a physical one? No, we'd notice that much more quickly.

It'd have to be spiritual, I assume. If anyone does have a physical affliction, it isn't apparent at a glance.

It's an idea worth seeing what they make of it, anyway. They'd know better than us what their curse is most likely to be.
