Good evening. Hopefully this isn't a bad time? Enough time has passed that we figured it was a good idea to check in and make proper introductions.

You'll have to forgive the lack of housewarming gift. We're a bit shorthanded at the moment, which I'm sure you can relate to.

No. I was in surprisingly good health, but since coming here I've felt at least a little under the weather almost daily.

I get some good days. But I do feel like I've been sick most of my time here... We keep p well on cleaning, so you don't have to worry...

It's so kind of you to even consider it! I know what you mean, though. I would have liked to make something for everyone, but whoever's in the kitchen, they don't want to share.

She places a hand against her chest and gives a small nod. ] You can call me Tiger Lily. [ Also, if she sounds just a little congested, don't worry about it. Maybe that's just her baseline? ]

Me and Mr. Smith listened at the door, and we heard a lot of hustling and bustling back there. Not really any talking, though? This is a haunted school, so I'm not sure we can expect anything to be normal...

I'm definitely not assuming they're normal cooks. . .

And I don't even want to imagine what ghost cooks look like.

[. . . actually, if he thinks about it too hard, the thought of eating food prepared by ghosts kind of wigs him out, too? but he has to eat or he'll starve, so. you know. it's whatever! we don't linger on that point too much!]

I'm going by Foxglove. I see we managed to stumble upon a common theme.

[ And on top of the under the weather part, Tifa also just seems a little more tired than what might be considered average, even if she's doing her best to seem bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. ]

You think that's why? That they're territorial?

[ It's hard to know, but she does wish she could cook up some more nutritious options for everyone. Even if she feels like hot garbage right about now. ]

It's likely occupied by spirits of some kind, no? I would assume it's a roughly similar sentiment keeping us out, at least.

As for my name, I felt like going with a flower, and it rolled off the tongue nicely. What about you?

Oh, my friend picked it out for me. We're from the same place, and she'd already picked White Rose for herself, so she decided we should match.
