What: Yakuyoke does a class assignment to try opening the equipment shed, with predictable results, and loses a member along the way (Nei's hiatus)
Warnings: Forced silencing, potential references to kidnapping/trafficking/imprisonment, possible violence because it is Yakuyoke?

[As of the 11th, the (still locked) equipment shed has been vandalized with the following chalk graffiti messages:

"help us"

"just give us a little peek, please 💜"

"I kindly request for this door to open. If not, please let us know the requirements and we will do our best to fulfill them within reason."

"I once found a locked door that perplexed me.
Locked equipment? Now, what help could that be?
This mysterious shed
Had me scratching my head;
To the shed now, I say: “Open Ses’me!”"

Well. It's actually not chalk anymore: It's blood now, running into the grass and staining everything.

Also as of the 11th, anyone within hearing distance will bear witness to a huge commotion: Several people screaming loudly (albeit muffled). The Yakuyoke girls, sans the one called Rin, are swarming around the equipment shed, probably going nuts somehow. It is Yakuyoke. All of their mouths are taped firmly shut.

[Well. You're here now. The equipment shed area is in chaos. There's writing on the walls, and it's bleeding. One teacher and three young women are down—vocally, that is, but that won't keep you from hearing their outraged screams behind the tape plastered over their mouths.

And one young woman is missing.

What'll you do?]

[ Well, the other three might be (muffled yelling), but Koharu is just collapsed to her knees somewhere nearby lowkey trying not to lose her mind. ]

[Oh god, the walls are bleeding and Nei is nowhere to be found. Brisa would shout, but finds herself effectively muffled.]

-DFFVFF!!!

[Worried about her winged teammate, she moves over to her, hand on Dove's shoulders since the poor girl has collapsed.]

[It's usually quiet in this corner of the outdoors. When he hears muffled screaming from a distance, Yuma dashes over to the scene, his gaze flitting from the outraged masses of Yakuyoke (sans Nei?) to Koharu on the ground.]

What happened?

[They are definitely sans Nei. This may or may not ping as odd. It's not like Yakuyoke is always inseparable; they do plenty on their own. But where the whole group is, it's probably weird to see just one of them missing.

Cadence sees Mamoru and makes a beeline for her, the tape over her mouth ensuring that her reason for speeding over is completely lost.]

Hmph! Mmpffh hm! Mmpffh hm! [She's snatching for his upper arm before he has a chance to try and decipher what she's saying and pulls him toward the still dripping shed.]

[It definitely pings as odd, to say nothing of everything else that's going on here.

Mercifully, his confusion doesn't transfer to the already beleaguered Raven. It lingers within himself as he takes in the bloody state of the shed's walls.]

Why do you have strips of tape on your mouths? And these words . . . Did you write them?

[The strips of tape--they're really annoying. So Cadence paws at the one fixed on her mouth again, unable to remove it, and rolls her eyes in irritation.

She's a writer, not a mime.

The words, at least, she can probably explain. She nods, then taps the flat of her knuckles under the words proclaiming "just give us a little peek, please 💜"--Rin's words, then the door--closed and sealed tightly shut.]

I keep misreading that as "pleek 💜" . . .

[While she's no mime, her expression answers the question in her stead. The reason escapes him, but it's clear that she's in no condition to be talking to him.

Looking at the words instead, they read like Nei's. Yuma glances at the door, then at Raven.]

She is trapped inside?

[He strides over to test the lock. Unsurprisingly, the door doesn't budge, even when he presses his hand against it.]

[ Mizi hasn't had to have her collar on as a gag in quite a long time, so she's not fond of the reminder of being silenced. While everyone is crashing out over the sudden Discord Timeout and Nei kidnapping, Mizi is digging her fingers harshly into the tape and trying to rip it off, eyes a bit feral.

Mamoru's question is heard, but she can't answer him, so she just tries to give him a pointed look towards the shed, struggling with all her strength against the tape. When this eventually fails, it looks like her next plan of action is to attack the shed itself, which is still dripping with blood. That's surely a good idea!! ]

[The look gives him pause for how raw and wild it is.

After the door fails to budge with his few interventions and piecing together the story from Raven's gestures and context clues, he has the feeling that this is probably not a good idea. What's more, Mizi is going to hurt herself if she's about to do what he thinks she's going to do, so he rushes to her side.]

Hold on a moment, Lyric. We don't know if the same thing as Rin-senpai will happen to you if you provoke the spirit inside.

[ At least if she provoked the spirit inside, she might find where Rin has gone. She can't — won't — have another person taken away from her by a smug, unfeeling force. Mamoru comes up to her side, but she gestures angrily at the shed, unable to say anything other than frustrated, muffled mumbles.

Against better judgment, she tries to push her way through his interference, still adamant on pounding on the shed, or trying to tear it apart for answers. Mercifully, there's no way she's stronger than him, so the effort will go unsuccessful, especially given the frantic and unorganized nature of her movements. ]

[While he can't fault her for being angry, that rage will only hinder her right now.

Yuma holds her by the shoulders, his palms pressing her back with the exact strength to keep her in place. The last thing he wants to do is hurt her and create more problems. In the resultant contact, he transmits an experienced calm that's faintly disrupted by a thread of concern for Mizi and Nei, who are both important to him.]

I would like to free her as well. Let us assess the situation calmly and come up with a solution together.

[He once told her that he'd do everything he could to assist her. It remains to be seen how useful he can be, but that wasn't a lie.]

[ Already out on the nearby track taking a run, the sound of muffled screaming immediately summons one member of Kin'un. Immediately taking action, Jiji dashes towards the equipment shed, glancing around quickly. Yakuyoke...? ]

Whoa! Who did this to you guys?!

[ And are they still around? Because Jiji looks ready to fight, if needed. ]

Mmff! Mmff!

[She's next to the bleeding shed right now, not actually fighting it because even in her fervor, warnings about trying to forcibly enter it are making her look for a craftier way back in.

This! This thing right here did this to all of them... Cadence isn't thinking about giving him the same warning that she received, though.]

[ She doesn't give him a warning, and so he'll do what he does best: favor brawn over brain. It's evident enough that the shed has something to do with their state of being, and it seems locked tight — and come to think of it, isn't there someone missing from the class...? ]

It...went in the shed? Don't worry! I'll get it open in no time!

[ After a running start, he bodily throws his shoulder against the door, to no avail. ]

Yeowch! Locked tight!!

[ Stupid shed made it so they can't talk, and now Rin is missing, as well. Suffice to say, Mizi isn't feeling great, or even remotely calm, never responding very well to deliberate acts of subjugation from their surroundings.

In response to his question, she makes an unintelligible, angry sounding yelp to point him in the right direction, before slamming her shin hard as she can into the shed's side, uncaring if she bruises. ]

[ You know what, he's not even gonna question that it's the shed that did it. Anything can be haunted, especially here, and what matters most is that they put a stop to this haunting as quickly as possible.

With a powerful kick, he slams the bottom of his shoe against the shed door, which doesn't so much as budge. He stumbles backwards, catching his footing. If he had Evil Eye here, this would be a cinch, but... ]

Your mouth — is it stuck like that?

[ He doesn't know what's going on like 98% of the time, but that's especially true when he's trying to communicate with people with their mouths sealed off. ]

[ See, he catches on fast — she's glad. What she's not as glad about is that kicking the shed as violently as she could ends up with no results, and she hops back a step too afterwards, breathing heavily.

At his question, she tries again to rip the tape off, digging her fingers in harshly to her skin to aid with the effort. It seems she's trying to answer his question for herself; is it really stuck? Or can it be brute forced off? She'll find out shortly! He can even help, if he wants, as the other side is open. She's likely to hurt herself a little before giving up on the attempt, though, if he has the mind to stop that, instead. ]

[Girl hasn't seen much of the area outside the school yet, as she's spent most of the last two months locked in her own room. But eventually, she reasoned it's probably a good idea to at least have a good mental image of them. Any good stuff has probably been picked clean by now, but maybe there's still good hiding places to be found.

What a coinky-dinky that today is the day she chose to explore this particular corner of the grounds.]

What the --

[She hears the girls and sees the blood before she realizes what's going on. She's instantly on guard for some ghost attacking, but as she gets closer, she recognizes the three of them.]

[And she lets out a loud snort.]

[The beef with Nessa might have been weeks ago, but it's still fresh in the mind of Yakuyoke, who banded together to protect their sweet and innocent Dove.

Everyone else has been met with panicked rallying or desperate please for assistance from one or all of the members of Yakuyoke, but Girl?

Well, there's still chalk left over from graffitiing the walls of the equipment shed. One such piece of chalk is lobbed directly at her, harmlessly (because it's chalk) but with great feeling.]

Ooooh, wow!

[She moves out of the way of the chalk.]

That's deadly. If that hit me, some kids mighta tried to play jacks on me!

[She promptly responds by giving Cadence two one-fingered salutes.]

Hey, look. I'm giving a bird the bird!

[They are not okay! But they might be okay with the arrival of a helpful face.

Yuffie is getting flagged down. By now, Raven's steeled herself mostly silent, so when she spots her, she lets out a muffled noise to drag her over. Rin's lost hair ribbon is folded over her otherwise empty hands.]

Hey, c'mon, talk to me. What happened?

[ she lets herself be dragged, but this is seriously concerning ]

[Rather theatrically, even in the middle of all of the commotion, Cadence stops mid-drag at "talk to me" and turns owlishly to stare at her, the tape across her mouth still pulled totally taught and only smeared with stains from her bloody-chalk-covered fingers.
