And sometimes, when a drop spatters against the ground, a spider lily suddenly blossoms in its place. The flower dies almost immediately upon springing to life, its petals dissolving into dust that is quickly washed away by the rest of the water]

[Thanks to the unbearable heat, Azure's been using the darkness before dawn and after sunset, once the air has cooled off ever so slightly, to train. Which is hard! Because he doesn't have his weapons of choice to train with, and he only rank E with his fists. But, that's no excuse not to neglect his drills! Even if there's no one to spar with, he'll take the opportunity to use a tree as a punching bag. He'll even ignore the dangerous feeling clawing at the back of his mind.

Maybe you've come across a tree near the edge of the woods that just looks like it's been exploded. Maybe you've heard an exploded tree topple over, from afar.

Tonight though.

Tonight a tree simply cracks at the stump and lands on top of Azure 👍



With a grunt, he pushes an entire tree off himself with his bare hands.]

[Hamn has been feeling out of sorts. Working out outside is fine, although it isn't scratching that itch to wield a blade and actually train. But he gets in his runs and his exercise at least, well away from that creepy gymnasium. He was actually getting into a good rhythm ... and then the sky opened up. What bad luck, huh? He looks like a giant wet rat for a long few minutes, standing stock still in the storm.

And then he seems to notice ... something in the muddy splatter. Looked like blood. Too much like blood. And weirdly, compartmentalizing means the first real thunderstorm here hits a little too hard.

Not that he would say anything to that effect. Or ... anything, actually.

Instead he is just flopping down, flat onto his back in the mud and not moving.]
