touch grass
Who: ota
When: sometime during the first week
Where: GREENHOUSE
What: inaugural garden club* meeting (* just this weirdo, currently)
Warnings: N/A
[ Things you may or may not have observed this guy doing recently:
1. Touching trees with a weird sort of reverent awe
2. Having a conversation with said trees
3. Stopping to obsessively catalogue every bit of native flora. Yes, even the weeds. Especially the weeds
4. Laying face down in the grass for long periods of time, possibly with sniffling
Today, though, he's ventured his way to the greenhouse proper after peering through the broken windows. ]
No way. And they're all real...?

[ Just like. Sits. In the middle of the plants to examine them. ]

I'm no gardener, but essentially, plants can survive just fine without intervention. However, intervention can help them thrive far more than they would in the wild.
That's assuming the person intervening knows how best to manage the plant, of course.
There's likely books on the matter in the library.

The most we have to go on so far is this school appears to be similar to the kind more than a few individuals from a place called Japan on Earth would know.

What? No way. They're... perfect.

Oh, yeah, I guess they're pretty nice. It's like, camping scenery if you don't look at the school.

Nevertheless, he does spend quite a bit of time just lying on the grass beneath the trees and staring up absentmindedly. It would almost be peaceful were it not for that other dude turning up face down and kind of ominously.]

What are you even doing. Hey. You better be alive over there.
[If there is no response within a short time he'll just toss, I don't know, a pinecone in that direction.]
