[staffing issues]
Aug. 29th, 2025 10:26 amWho: everyone!
When: throughout the weekend of August 29, or whenever in time you need this to be
Where: cafeteria, and elsewhere
What: a mingle, but also. . . ?
Warnings: nada!
[How is everyone recovering from last weekend's test of courage? I hope you have been resting! Are some of those hallucinations still lingering. . . ? Or have they finally worn off, restoring upon you a sense of tentative normality?]
[. . . the food in the cafeteria this weekend seems. . . a bit off. The rice is mushy and overcooked, the meats are burned and very dry, and the vegetables are suuuuper soggy and a bit too salty to eat. Even the packaged snacks appear to be affected!! Baked goods are singed across the edges, and the bagged chips and pretzels are weirdly stale. Huh. What's going on behind the scenes. . .?]
[On the bright side, not all of the food is poorly cooked. You can still find enough edible bits to make a solid meal! No one will starve! But it is strange, isn't it?]
[On the front of the cafeteria doors is a new sign written in wobbly, unfamiliar handwriting: SORRY. STAFFING ISSUES.]
[ANYWAY. ALL THAT ASIDE, IT'S ANOTHER NORMAL DAY IN YOUR EXTREMELY HAUNTED STUDENT LIFE. What are you doing this weekend?]
