[ early in the morning one of those chaulk cafe boards pops up right outside one of the spare classrooms near the Kitchen reading "COME TO THE CAT BOARD GAME MAID MANGA INTERNET CAFE" in increasingly small and squished lettering because there's really not a whole lot of room on these cafe boards.

the classroom in question has been reworked into a cozy little cafe... of sorts. all the desks are pushed up against each other to create tables of varying sizes. most of the tables are decorated with flowers (picked from outside) placed inside little cat vases.

other tables are littered with varying board games such as scrabble and go. a few piles of manga also happen to be lying around but for some reason most of them seem to be bl manga...?

yet more tables are lined with... laptops? of some kind? there may have been some false advertising. but hey, at least you can learn the alphabet from them!

and if all this isn't enough chaos in one room they also somehow managed to wrangle a couple of the nekomata into the room.


arguably the most important feature of this "cafe" is the makeshift teacher-desk-counter at the far end of the classroom, complete with a MENU written up on the chaulkboard that reads:

糖葫蘆 (CANDY FRUIT)
紅豆湯 (RED BEAN SOUP)
湯圓 (SOUP BALL)
麻花 (FRIED DOUGH)
CAKE (MATCHA, STRAWBERRY)
COFFEE
TEA

behind this counter is our resident Girl from Kin'un (who may or may not be wearing a maid outfit), ready to take peoples' orders.

and right at the door to greet you is Gehou also from Kin'un (who is definitely wearing a maid outfit), ready to serve. 



important ooc notes: food and drink from the cafe can be purchased from Girl here.

"but what is the currency?" tasks from the prompt list, mostly! if Girl charges anything else that's her business Gehou is just here to be cute and serve people as is his airplane-given right. 

the nekomata and such can be interacted with as much or as little as you want. if you want a certain game or BL manga to be there go ahead and assume it's there. you don't have to purchase anything to use them.

naturally everything disappears once the cafe closes which will be sometime in the afternoon of Sept 30th (ic) <3 ]

[Girl is behind the counter. Today, she is playing the part of The Surliest Maid Ever. She's gone the full nine yards, the black uniform, white apron, headdress, cat ears. She also is glowering at you the whole time.]

[ so elegant! he smiles, amused by. her honestly weird hand gesture, but he takes it and brushes it softly with his lips. a chaste, gentlemanly kiss. ]

[He said he wouldn't help Kin'un get points, but he never said he wouldn't hang out.

Magus looks like shit, though. He's limping in and taking a long look around. The fact that he is covered with bruises, scrapes and bandages is apparent. The bruises around his throat and broken nose just add to the You Should See The Other Guy appearance]

[ for the sake of thread continuity and also everyone's sanity, the last time gehou saw magus was when he witnessed magus and shizun painting each others' portraits. and he was so distraught about that he left immediately.


so now he's just staring at magus thinking, wow i really hope he got the shit beat out of him. but maybe not by shizun's hands personally. maybe a ming fan kind of guy if someone exists like that in Kai-un.


in any case, he's greeting Magus with a shallow smile. ]
