[ it's been nearly a week since they've seen each other. aside from the daily congee deliveries, he really has been trying to give his teacher some space.

as such, when he enters the art room he doesn't immediately approach.



ok well "immediately approach" is highly relative here because it doesn't take him long to notice that shizun does not look well. he manages to force himself to stay back and observe for just a moment or so longer, but once shizun starts kicking furniture he can't take it anymore. ]


Shen Qingqiu. [ as soon as he makes his presence known, ] Do not send me away.


[ and then he reaches out, to grab the man by his wrist. ]

[ he doesnt respond. his eyes are dark as he is made to let go of Shizun's wrist, only to grab his face instead in an iron grip that reflects his demonic heritage. ]

[ honestly I just oocly didn't think clay tools might include screws. I have not worked enough with clay. he clasps his wrist behind his back, leaning in to look ]

Have you done woodworking in the past, Eowyn-xiaojie?

Not really with wood, but I've done stuff with bone before. Sometimes I need to etch them or add wire and pins for articulation.

I don't know what is going on in your head but the way you are now... the way your body is now, it won't matter if your qi is balanced or not.

Mm... I haven't seen ones like the ones I use, but let me check. This place has so many creepy dolls, you'd think they'd have stuff like that.

[off to rummage around again and bring back a handful of offerings. armature wire? split brad fasteners? straight pins? long plastic beads??]

Maybe the food can be purified. You have a necromancer in your class, maybe she can make herself useful. Or would you rather wait to die and be revived by her? Is that what you want? Do you want to make me watch you die over and over again?

The wire might work, if we can scrounge up appropriate closures of some sort on either end. We can aim for that diameter for now.
