I suppose... There was a stew they used to make for our birthdays. Something warming while the weather turned cold.

Do you remember what was in it?

It's not something I prepared for myself. But from what I do remember... Venison, potatoes, carrots, and a few other vegetables.

[sounds like a pretty simple stew. . . he can work with that]

Do you remember anything about the broth?

No, I'm afraid I don't. But - you don't have to go out of your way, truly.

It's not going out of my way if I could use the practice.

Don't thank me until you've tasted it. It could turn out to be the worst stew anyone has ever made.
