But. . . the Mischief Makers seem to be in prime form today, for some reason? If you spend any significant time outside the safety of your dorm or the nurse's office, you may find yourself the victim of one of their silly little pranks!]

[It may take you a moment to notice, but once you do, you realize. . . the omamori that you're carrying around with you isn't yours! Whether it was during breakfast, while you were perusing the school library's book collection, or just passing throughout the hallways, the Mischief Makers have yoinked your omamori and swapped it with someone else's. SCANDALOUS. You'd better return this missing charm to its rightful owner ASAP. And get your own back, too. Just in case]

[Swapped charms will act as dousing rods of a sort, leading you to the charm's proper owner. There's nothing stopping you from making a trade once you find them! And if you're trying to follow the swapped charm's dowsing back to your own, you may also notice that wherever your charm is, it's getting closer to you. Kinda like the person on the other end of the swap is seeking you out.]

[And...then at some point when your own omamori feels close, you'll probably notice that a Girl is glaring at you from across the cafeteria, around a corner, whatever.]

[OOC: Just as a heads up, Girl is going to try and steal her own omamori back and uh, she's not particularly interested in giving back the one that was swapped to her, either! If you wanna plot anything more detailed out with this, just gimme a poke on the discord server.]

[Suzuha only realizes that something is up when a pair of mischief makers seem to be following her for a bit, peeping around corners at her and seeming to titter and bounce a little excitedly whenever she caught glimpses of them. She spots them once again as she makes her way down the stairs, and this prompts her to do a quick check of herself—last thing she needs is whatever prank they’re up to causing her to trip down the stairs. And it’s then that she realizes the omamori always tucked safely in her pocket is not the yellow one embroidered with little songbirds along the edge that belongs to her.]

You’ve got to be kidding me…

[Find her sitting there in the middle of the stairway with her head in her hands immediately after. Girl just needs a minute, she’s having a rough couple of days. Hope she’s not in your way?]


[Once she’s indulged in that bit of moping, she’s back to her determined self, following the tug of the omamori until it leads her off to the cafeteria at lunch time. Hopefully this thing is leading her properly to its owner, because she’s sliding right up to your table whether you’re in the middle of eating or not with a little wave.]

Uh, hey. Could you check your pockets real quick?

[You might notice that her voice is a little scratchy, and there’s purpling finger-shaped bruises lining either side of her neck. Don’t worry about it!]
