[Yuma is initially reluctant to switch rooms between teams, if only because of his rigidity where structure is concerned, and says as much during an early discussion. Ultimately, he gives in as there's no hard rule stating that they can't stay overnight in the dormitory of another homeroom. And so, come the day of the exchange, he greets the newcomers to Shiawase's space with a polite smile.

He's almost always dressed primly in his blazer uniform with a book checked out from the library in hand, and readily answers the door whenever someone from Kenkou visits.]

Greetings. Are you here to see your teammate?

[In the event it's Ena or Mizuki on the other side, he perks up just a bit and opens the door a little wider.]

Ah, it's you. How is everything?

[As for Tifa and Vash, as well as the remaining members of Shiawase, Yuma's routine for the first few days of the arrangement is as such: He rises early and eats as soon as breakfast is available, then spends some time inspecting the school and its grounds before returning to the dormitory, where he reads in the common area before setting out for lunch to repeat these steps. During those periods when he's around, he easily strikes conversation.]

How is the adjustment period going for you?

[The swap is, well. It takes a bit of time to adjust. She hadn't realized how she'd gotten used to Minato dozing off on the couch or Yuma up bright and early.

Still, Mafuyu is in this dorm, and this way they can keep an eye on her, at least at first. They can figure out everything else later.

So! In the Kenkou dorms, Ena can be found perched on one of the seating options in the common area, sketchbook on her knees, though she's just twirling her pencil instead of drawing anything for now.

And she pops by the Shiawase dorms anyway, back and forth.]

I'm just checking in. Don't get the wrong idea. [It's not like she misses you guys or anything. (That is what it is.)]

[Then two days in, she probably bumps right into someone in her hurry to dash out of the room she's borrowing, eyes wide and breathless.]

H-hey--!

[And three days in, Ena can be found dozing off in the hallway the dorms lead to, as if she didn't quite make it back. Whoops. Her sketchbook is open to a shaky sketch of claustrophobic, foggy railroad tracks.]

[Yuma is on his way back from his routine exploration when he spies Ena in the hallway of all places. Alert at once, he walks briskly over to her side, not touching her just yet.]

Botan?

[She is snoozing. Dark circles under her eyes, not even stirring as he calls out her "name".

rip.]

[Well, this doesn't bode well. Yuma glances around, ensuring that nothing else is out of the ordinary before kneeling down to put a hand on her shoulder. There's a hint of concern, but mostly he's focused.]

You mustn't sleep here, Botan.

[This will be his last attempt before he resorts to picking her up.]

[She stirs a little at the touch, but doesn't wake completely.

Because I want him to pick her up.

So that he can feel all of the nightmare-induced fear, paranoia and feeling of being pursued too. Hooray! Two-in-one Shiawase special!]

[Yippee!

Yuma prefers not to shout if he can help it, and he can only be so rough with someone who's obviously exhausted, which is odd even for her. Left with no other option, he gathers her sketchbook and then moves to scoop her up into his arms with the intention of bringing her back to their assigned dormitory. Question is, does she rouse enough to inflict those fears upon him now?]

[Of course.

Once she's properly scooped up, she stirs properly, eyes fluttering--

And then she startles awake with a gasp, and he'll be hit with all of those feelings in a wave as the nightmare meets the waking world for Ena.]

[ Guess who's dozing off on the couch when Ena stops by to check in -- ]

...Botan?

[ Minato yawns and rubs an eye, sitting up straight now that there's someone else in the common room. ]

Did you forget something...?

[ Clearly that's why she's stopped by isn't it -- ]

[Nnnnooooooo....]

Uh. Yeah. Totally.

[They don't even own anything here really???]

Sorry, did I wake you up?

[ He shakes his head. ]

It's okay. I didn't even notice I fell asleep.

[ So it's a good thing she woke him up, technically. ]

How's the other dorm...?

[The gasp hits him like a truck.

With a hitched breath, he lurches to a stop at the sudden influx of emotions, taken off guard by their unexpected combination. Fear is something he recognizes right away, but the rest is alien and overwhelming enough that his heart rate spikes. His body responds by tensing, ensuring that Ena doesn't fall out of his arms.

Steady, he tells himself. He pushes back against the wave with practiced calm as he straightens, shoving the surfacing anxiety down where the naked eye can't see, and peers down at Ena with a slight furrow in his brow.]

Calm yourself, Botan. It's just me.

Pretty much the same, honestly.

[She stretches a little with a yawn, and then comes over to sit.]

It's good to be able to look after Snowdrop, but I'm worried about something happening while Blossom and I are over there, too.

[What would Shiawase do without them!!! (mostly Blossom)]

[--?!

For a moment, his arms around her feels like she's been caught by whatever it was that was pursuing her, and the fear spikes--

And then her senses come back, and she drags in a few gulping, shaky breaths and covers her face with her hands. Her eyes sting with tears--frustrated tears, from the exhaustion and the recurring dream--and she doesn't want him to see that, even if he can undoubtedly feel the frustration from that connection.

She's valiantly fighting back those stronger emotions, though.]

We're just down the hall.

[ So if something happened, she just has to run right over. ]

Snowdrop... is she from the same place as you and Blossom?

[ An unfamiliar name, but one that matches the flower theming. Perhaps they were all friends? ]

[ Just getting a glass of water when she pops by— ]

Sure. [ Shooting her a little grin, teasing. ] No wrong ideas here.

[ She definitely can't be soft in her own way or anything— ]

[He understands frustration, too. And he understands not wanting anyone to see that part of her; otherwise, he wouldn't smile so much out of habit.

Some of that understanding filters through their connection. He doesn't linger on it, though—doesn't dwell on her face that she's trying so desperately to cover—in favor of closing that short distance to their dormitory. The door opens and he keeps going, moving past the common area to take her to his room, where he sets her down on the tidy bed before stepping back, the sketchbook still in his grasp.]

My apologies for bringing you here. With the state of the rooms, I thought you might want some privacy.

[hush with your logic]

Hm? Yeah, she's part of our music circle. It's why we wanted to see if we could go over there and keep an eye on her sometimes.

[Another few shaky breaths in, and Ena shakes her head a little, swallowing tightly.]

'S fine.

[He doesn't have to apologize.

Slowly, she sits up, scrubbing at her face. She doesn't appear to be in danger of crying now, but she doesn't look great by any means, swaying a little in place.]

Ugh... I feel like I haven't slept in days...

[And, of course, she narrows her eyes at him immediately. Watch it, buster.]

Yeah? Well. Good. That's how it should be.

[Hmph.]

How have things been over here anyway? [It's been like a day, Ena.]

[He sets the sketchbook down on the desk, then positions himself so that he's close enough to intervene in case Ena falls over.]

You look quite exhausted. Was there a problem at the other dormitory?

[ Given that Tifa had been the first one to bring up the idea of switching some of the members of Kenkou and Shiawase around, of course she had also volunteered to be one of the people who would swap. It was only fair, even if it meant leaving the dormitory (and the people) she's gotten used to over the past week or so.

Not that Shiawase's space is much different, and this way she'll be able to share a dorm with Yuffie while also giving Snowdrop and her friends the ability to stick together.

All seems well at first, and she does her best not to be intrusive as she adjusts to the Shiawase dorms. She's up early to do her training and exercise regimens in the morning, which is mainly a lot of reps to keep her body in good shape. There seems to be a particular ritual she follows with it, and it's almost always the same set of exercises.

Of course, she also checks back in on Kenkou when she gets the chance — usually with a delivery of food from the cafeteria. ] Hey! Everything okay over here?

[ As she continues to have a strange dream every night though, she finds that the dream itself isn't really the problem so much as how she wakes up and never feels quite right. Like she barely slept at all, no matter how early she turned in. She does her best not to draw attention to it, but she might accidentally fall asleep on the couch in Shiawase's common room. On top of that, she seems to have a cold which only gets worse with the passing days, leading to sneezing, coughing, and sniffling.

If anyone asks after her, though, she usually has the same response. ] Oh, I'm okay. I'm sure it'll pass soon... [ She does seem to be gathering more tea and soup from the cafeteria, though. As much as she tries to put on a brave face, it becomes that much harder to hide her sickness and exhaustion. She'll end up spending more time in her room, and might not make it to Kenkou as often for visits. Maybe check on her? ]

[ On that first morning, Tifa comes out of her room early to start her training and exercise for the day. There are a few early risers on Kenkou, but she isn't sure what to expect here, and is surprised to find that a certain someone is already up.

At his question, she hesitates for a moment before nodding. ]

So far so good. Everything here pretty much matches Kenkou's dorm, so... [ It's really just a matter of the people being different.

However, she's aware that he hadn't been the biggest fan of this idea, so she can't help but feel a little awkward. She clears her throat, and he might notice that it sounds a little rough when she does so. ] I know you weren't the biggest fan of this idea, though. I'll do my best not to get in the way of anything.

[ Frets!! ]

[With guests staying over, Azure feels the uncontrollable urge to play the good host. Does it matter that he's mildly feverish and achy and his head hurts? No that's just normal now! Forever maybe!!!

He's bringing over trays of juice boxes and food that looks vaguely snack-like (the world's saddest slices of cheese pizza, slightly soggy tater tots, carrot and celery sticks that don't look especially fresh, etc] in the attempt to make their guests feel welcome.

Whether it's actually working is, questionable? Mostly because it involves having to eat the food.]

Is-- is there anything else I can do for you?

There is no need for that.

[He closes the book and sets it down on the coffee table, next to the yearbook. His tone is courteous where it might have been aggrieved once, long before the school, because this is a case where flexibility makes more sense.]

This was a collective decision, and I understand why it was made. So long as there are no consequences for the exchange, I have no objections.
